I have been away from the Gaspe Coast for many years and only recently learned of Dot's passing. During my upbringing in New Richmond, Dot was a friend of our family and even babysat us on a few occasions. She was famous for her macaroni and cheese. I still have the recipe.... "Dot's macaroni and cheese". We were close to her mother as well, who welcomed us as if we were her own grandkids. I sent deepest condolences to the family.
