It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon Doherty which occurred at the CHSLD New Carlisle on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at the age of 76.
Predeceased by her mother Marjorie LeGrand, father David Doherty, her son Davie, brother Billy and sister Maureen.
She leaves behind her beloved husband Wade Gifford, daughter Bobbie Lynn, brother Stephen (Denise), sisters: Marjorie (Ralph), Mona (Peter), Susan, Karen (David). Her uncle George LeGrand, stepchildren Shelly and Devin Gifford, also grandsons Gryphon and Kanen.
The family will receive condolences at the Saint Andrews Anglican Church, New Carlisle, on Saturday, February 7, 2026.
Visiting hours will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 2 p.m.
Burial will take place at a later date.
Professional services have been entrusted to the Henri Thibodeau Funeral Home Inc,. a subsidiary of the HG Division network certified Distinction of the Corporation des Thanatologues du Québec and by the Bureau de Normalisation du Québec.
