Our deepest condolences to the family. May your memories bring you comfort in the days ahead.
I met Marg 25 years ago now. She was kind and sweet and funny and old-fashioned and soft-hearted. There was nothing she wouldn’t do for the people she loved and she gave great hugs. Her family meant the world to her: she adored Herb for a lifetime and embraced and was embraced by his beautiful family in Newfoundland, who recognized a gem of a human when they saw one. Marg’s sons were her pride and joy, as were the grandchildren they gave her. Her sister and brother were long her best friends. She was school secretary at SPDS for many years and really enjoyed helping and being kind to kids, especially those who needed a hug. Many of the kids who passed through SPDS, as well as staff will remember her big, loving heart. That's a truly lovely picture of her. It made me remember how much she loved her “kissies”/kitties.
I’m glad to have known you for a bit of time, Marg. Thank you for the kindness and care. Rest in peace. My most sincere sympathies to Herb and family.
Sincere condolences to Herb and family. Remember Marg fondly from her trip to Woods Island with Herb and other family members. She was a real trooper staying in a cabin that was just being built and lacking in amenities. A very special lady indeed. May she rest is peace. The McCarthys
