SO sorry to hear of the lost of Embert,,, i remember everytime i would see him , he would always make me laugh,, he was a character. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am so sorry for your loss Aunt Chris. Uncle Embert was an amazing man – everyone only has great things to say about him because that is who he was. I also send my love to Tanya and Colleen. I've searched for the right words, but none can be found. What words could even begin to describe the sadness, the hurt, the shock, the disbelief, that came with the news of Embert's passing. The past couple of days I've been paralyzed by memories of my childhood. For many years, your home was my 2nd home , your family was my 2nd family. Each memory I have brings a smile to my face, each moment spent with you all, are times I will always treasure. I will always regret not saying "Thank You" to Embert. Thank you for allowing me to be apart of your lives. Thank you for always welcoming me into your home. As a child growing up , it was my most favorite place to be. Thank you for all the trips to Ontario. 14 hours would always go by so fast with Embert driving. His stories, his jokes and stopping for his favorite Harvey's Burgers. Thanks to Embert, I now stop at Harvey's too with my family!! ~ I could go on and on saying thank you for so many things. I will truly miss Embert's kindness, his teasing ways and his willingness to always give a helping hand whenever needed. But what I will miss the most is listening to him talk about his family. He was a proud Husband, Father & Grandfather. His love was real and his eyes proved it when he mentioned your names. ~ Chris, Colleen, Tanya.......... I wish I could somehow ease your pain. Please know my family is holding your family close to our hearts & praying for strength , comfort, peace & understanding. I love you. XoXo

Some of my favourite childhood memories were spent listening to their stories of mischief and tormenting Nan. He will be greatly missed by our family.
