Dear Bonnie and family; Joyce, Linda and families,
My sincere and heartfelt sympathy on your loss of Cecil. You have all been through a long and difficult journey with Cecil, but through Joyce's emails to me, she shared the wonderful times you all continued to have together, from going up on the mountain to sitting around a campfire on a beautiful, starry evening, to Cecil enjoying his grandchildren. To share two special memories of Cecil: back in the 70's, at the Christmas dinners hosted by Joyce and James, Cecil made sure that "Santa" arrived with gifts for all the children. They were happy, exciting occasions. And, on our last trip down east, 2008, Cecil drove Uncle George, Jack, Laura and myself up on the mountain to show us all the wood he had cut. While on one of the roads, what appeared in front of us brought surprised sounds from us, Cecil especially, as his shout of surprise brought a mother bear and her 3 cubs to a stop on the road not far ahead from us, to take a look at what she heard! We all sat there stunned and watched as she and her cubs continued on into the woods. There was a lot of chatter from us as we sat there talking about what we just saw. Cecil was a lovely, easy-going, kind man and will surely be missed. Another good soul taken too soon. My love with hugs to you all, Carol

Dear Mrs. Merchant and family,
I am so saddened by your loss. Mr. Merchant was one if the kindest, sweetest men I know. He always brought joy to the clinic when he came. Never complained, ever! He's in Gods arms now. Know that he will stay in my heart for a very long time. My love and prayers to you Mrs. Merchant and of course to all family members.
