Vincent Le Grand, 88 years of age passed on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at Maria Hospital. Vincent was born Feb 3, 1938 in Paspebiac west, Quebec to the late Selwyn and Myrtle Le Grand. He was the oldest of three children, two preceded him in death. Vincent was educated in New Carlisle Quebec.
Vincent married the late Alice Le Grand in a 1959, and three children were born from that union. He started working in Murdochville, Quebec at the copper mine as an apprentice electrician. He then left Murdochville Quebec to go to New Richmond Quebec to work as an electrician at Bathurst Pulp and Paper Mill. He worked his way to become the electricial/instrumentation super intendent until 1993 when he retired.
For the last 15 years Marcelle Mallet was Vincent's partner in life. Vincent loved to tinker and fix everything, he was always working on different projects. He enjoyed helping others with there electrical and mechanical problems.
Vincent leaves to loving memory Marcelle Mallet, his children, James Le Grand, Cathy Le Grand and Randy Le Grand. 3 grandchildren, 6 great - grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family will receive condolences at the funeral home, located at 197 Gérard-D. Levesque in New Carlisle, on Wednesday, June 3, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church in New Carlisle on Thursday, June 4, at 2:00 p.m., followed by burial at the United Cemetery in New Carlisle.
Professional services have been entrusted to the Henri Thibodeau Funeral Home Inc., a subsidiary of the HG Division network certified Distinction by the Corporation des Thanatologues du Québec and by the Bureau de Normalisation du Québec.

The Master and Officer of Good Samaritan Masonic Lodge #68 express sincere sympathy to his family and his partner Marcelle. He was a member of Good Samaritan Lodge for 59 years and will be remember by many. May the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace.
